A very simple and pleasing day. We drove from St. Louis to Kansas City with a most interesting stop at Fulton, MO to visit the Winston Churchill museum. He first used the phrase "Iron Curtain" in a speech he gave at the college in 1946. It was cloudy and threatening until the last hour of our drive. Now we have a clear sky, reasonable humidity, and low 70's. We plan to visit several sites here tomorrow.
